The Mental Game

The mind of a distance runner is the one who will thrive to excel in a painful setting, the one who will dare to reach beyond its limits in order to achieve a goal. The success of any adventure begins in one’s mind through his/her belief in the triumph.

We train the body to sustain a high level of intensity over a long period of time. This is marathon training. We stress the body, we recover, we adapt, and we repeat. This is physical training.

In the pursuit of guiding you to reach your full potential, we are delighted to introduce a new aspect of coaching through Mental Training.

Each week, we will post about a new idea. We ask you spend a few minutes to think of the topic on your easy runs, or when you go to sleep, or when you are commuting, or during your harder runs. Reflect on the idea and observe how your perspective change in different settings. If you wish to write and share your thoughts amongst your peers, please use the comment box below.
